About the Trust

A trust founded on faith, learning and selfless service

Om Sree Sarvasakthi Aanmeega Valarchi Arakattalai (OSSAI) is a public charitable trust established at Chennai on 30th July 2024, dedicated to undertaking charitable and religious activities for the benefit of the public.

The Trust was founded to give effect to a lifelong desire — to create and sustain a spiritual, educational and charitable institution that carries forward the high ideals set by the Siddhars and Rishis for the upliftment of humanity.

Governed by a Board of Trustees and administered wholly within India, OSSAI holds and expands its funds and properties in trust, applying them faithfully to the objects set out in its founding deed.

“The Trust is established for the benefit of the citizens of India — without discrimination of caste, religion, creed or sex.”

Our Mission

Three foundations, one purpose

Every activity of the Trust grows from three enduring commitments — nurturing the spirit, advancing knowledge, and relieving those in need.

Spiritual

Establishing and maintaining temples, ashrams and mutts; preserving Siddhar samadhis; teaching yoga and spiritual paths; and organising spiritual yathras that keep sacred traditions alive.

Educational

Running gurukulams in the Guru–Shishya tradition, supporting schools, colleges and libraries, and establishing Ayurvedic and Siddha medical colleges and research centres for the needy.

Charitable

Providing annadhanam and feeding the poor, uplifting women and children, protecting the environment, and rushing relief to victims of famine, flood, fire and other calamities.

Seva & Relief

Annadhanam and care for those in need

No one should go hungry. The Trust provides financial assistance for annadhanam through temples and directly to the poor, and extends compassion to the most vulnerable in society.

  • Financial assistance for annadhanam and feeding the poor
  • Upliftment and empowerment of women and children
  • Relief for victims of famine, flood, fire and natural calamity
  • Aid to other charitable trusts and public institutions

Learning & Tradition

Reviving the Guru–Shishya tradition of learning

Knowledge is a sacred inheritance. The Trust builds and runs gurukulams, supports institutions of learning, and preserves the arts, scriptures and wisdom handed down by the Siddhars and Rishis.

  • Construction and running of gurukulams
  • Support for schools, colleges, libraries and research
  • Ayurvedic & Siddha medical colleges for the needy
  • Promotion of the 64 arts and publication of spiritual literature
